I am in my third year of a Bachelor of Music majoring in Violin Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying under Janet Davies. This will be my fourth year of being in The Sydney Youth Orchestra.

My love of music started quite early when I joined my school’s recorder ensemble, and began learning the violin at 7 years old. During my tertiary studies, some of my musical highlights have been 2025 AYO National Music Camp and SYO’s 2024 Big West Tour. At the Con, I have found a deep enjoyment for historical performance and have been a principal and concertmaster of several Early Music Ensemble programs at the Con. Furthermore, I am a new music enthusiast and have played in multiple programs with the UNSW New Music Collective under the guidance of Dr. Sonya Lifschitz.

I also have a passion for education and conduct a beginner’s string ensemble at Summer Hill Public School, and have been fortunate to participate in the SYO Professional Pathways Program as an orchestral training assistant with their Core Strings Program. Outside of violin I enjoy cooking and baking!
