About
Cooper graduated St Aloysius’ College in 2020. He received HSC Encore nominations for Music 2 in 2019 and Music Extension in 2020, as well as achieving 4th in the state for Music Extension in 2020. He is currently in his first year of study of a Bachelor of Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium under teachers Nigel Crocker and Scott Kinmont. Cooper started with SYO in 2015 with the Symphonic Wind Orchestra, and performed with the SYO Philharmonic the following year. He joined the Flagship orchestra in 2017 in year 9 and participated in their European tour the same year, becoming principal trombone of the Flagship orchestra in 2019.
